The working principle of electro-permanent magnetic lifting clamps adopts electro-permanent magnetic technology. The magnetizing and demagnetizing of magnetic poles are controlled by the controller to lift and release steel workpieces. During magnetization, the magnetic poles generate strong magnetic force to attract steel workpieces; during demagnetization, the magnetic force disappears and the workpiece is released.

Safety is critical in lifting operations. First, confirm all performance indicators of the electro-permanent magnetic lifting clamp are normal before use, and check the pole surface for damage and debris. Second, select a proper clamp according to the weight and shape of the workpiece, and install and fix it correctly. Keep the lifting movement stable during operation. Avoid sudden starts, stops and violent shaking to prevent the workpiece from falling off. Meanwhile, watch the surrounding area to avoid collisions with other objects.
Multiple factors should be taken into account when choosing a suitable electro-permanent magnetic lifting clamp, such as the weight, size and shape of the workpiece, as well as the temperature, humidity and corrosiveness of the working environment. For heavy workpieces, clamps with strong load capacity are required. For irregularly shaped workpieces, clamps with special adsorption structures shall be selected. Besides, the ease of operation and maintenance cost of the clamp also need to be considered.
